1. When is the best time to apply for my Ukraine visa? The best time to apply for your Ukraine visa is 1-2 months before your travel date.
  2. Do I have to send you my passport to get a Ukraine visa? Is it safe to send a passport? You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Ukraine visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages. Visa requests cannot be processed without your original passport. Because of the importance of your passport, we strongly suggest that you send your application and passport to CIBTvisas in a secure way, using a traceable courier such as FedEx, UPS, Express Mail or Certified Mail.

 

 

Business Visa Application Requirements for a Ukraine Visa

  1. Passport

    The applicant's actual passport. The passport must:

    • Be in good condition. Not be damaged in any way
    • Be valid for at least three months beyond exit date
    • Have at least two blank visa pages

  2. Copy of ID

    A copy of the applicant's valid ID (IFE or INE)

  3. Photograph(s)

    You must provide one colour, passport type photograph that meet the following criteria:

    • Be taken within the last three months and printed on high quality photo paper
    • Be taken against an all white background
    • Be 35 mm by 45mm in size
    • Provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression
    • You may wear neither spectacles nor headwear except for religious purposes
    • Your photos should not be affixed to your application and they may not display evidence of adhesive or staples

  4. Letter of Invitation

    An original letter of invitation from the company the applicant is visiting. This letter must:

    • Be on company letterhead paper
    • Be from a company registered as a legal entity by the Ukrainian authorities
    • Specify the company registration number, date of issue, the full name of the company, its location and telephone number
    • State the purpose of journey
    • Contain the applicants full name, passport number, place of birth and date of birth as stated in their passport
    • Indicate the applicant´s place of residence
    • Indicate the expected duration of the applicant's stay
    • Specify the requested number of entries
    • Specify the place of stay in Ukraine
    • Include an acceptance of financial responsibility for the applicant
    • Bear the signature of the inviting party

  5. Proof of Financial Means

    Evidence of available funds must be provided as a copy of the applicant's most recent bank statement showing available founds for the trip.

  6. Proof of Travel Arrangements

    Details of travel arrangements. This must be provided as:

    • A copy of the flight confirmation showing onward/return travel
    • A copy of the hotel confirmation

  7. Proof of Travel Insurance

    Copy of actual travel insurance policy certificate . The certificate must:

    • Include applicant's full name and passport number
    • State that the policy is valid for the destination and the duration of the entire trip
    • Indicate a medical liability cover of at least 30,000 Euros

  8. Visa Application Form

    One fully completed and signed application form
