Business Visa Application Requirements for a China Visa
Mandatory Arrival Card
All travellers to China are required to apply for an Arrival Card before arrival. The arrival card can be applied for here free of charge.
The following categories are not required to apply for an arrival card:
- Travellers transiting through China without leaving the airport
- Crew members of international aircraft or ships
- Travellers entering and departing China by cruise ship
- Travellers holding a valid Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao
- Permanent residents of China
Passport
The applicant´s actual passport. The passport must:
- Be in good condition. Not be damaged in any way
- Be valid at least six months beyond exit date
- Have at least two blank visa pages
Photograph
You must provide a photograph. Upload your photo and we will print it to the exact specifications required for this visa. Follow https://cibtvisas.com.mx/photo-service to upload your photo.
Alternatively, you may provide one colour, passport type photograph that meets the following strict criteria: be taken within the last three months against a white background and printed on high quality photo paper; be 35mm by 45mm in size; provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression. You may wear neither spectacles nor headwear except for religious purposes and wear colour clothes, photos with white clothes wont't be accepted. Your photograph should not be affixed to your application and may not display evidence of adhesive or staples.Business Introduction Letter
An original letter of introduction from the applicant's employer in Mexico. This letter must:
- Be addressed to the Consulate of China in Mexico
- Be written in English
- Be dated in MM-DD-YYYY format
- Include the applicant's full name, nationality and date of birth
- Include the applicant's brief job description, including the position
- Include the applicant's passport number, date of issue and expiration date
- Be issued on company letterhead
- Include the full name, position, phone number and email address of the person signing the letter
- Include the legal entity name of the company in Mexico
- Include the date when the applicant started to work in the company
- Include the applicant's monthly salary in MXN currency
Letter of Invitation
An original letter of invitation from the company the applicant is visiting in China. The letter must:
- Be addressed to the Consulate of China in Mexico
- Be written in English
- Include the applicant's full name, nationality, date of birth, gender and job title
- Include the applicant's passport number, date of issue and expiration date
- Specify the purpose of travel, travel dates (entry and exit in MM-DD-YYYY format)
- Specify who will cover the expenses
- Include the complete address and the name of the company in China, including postal code
- Include number of entries required
- Be issued on company letterhead and include full name, position, phone number and email address of the person signing the letter
- Be signed in blue ink (preferably) in Chinese characters
- Be stamped with the company's red seal
Please note that the signature and the stamp must not overlap each other or the text of the letter.
Proof of Travel Arrangements
A copy of the flight confirmation showing onward/return travelVisa Application Form
One fully completed and signed visa application form. The application must:
- Be completed online
- Include answers for all required fields
- List the name of the traveler exactly as it is written in the passport
- Be printed single-sided
- Be dated and signed in blue or black ink
- Be enclosed with all other documents in your visa application kit
- Have your signature on the declaration confirmation page, as well as in section 9.1A

Complete and submit with your other materials one CIBTvisas Order Form.
Multiple Entry Applicants
Applicants requiring a multiple entry visa must provide:
- A passport showing one previous Chinese visa that has been used in the past
- Copies of the previous visa and the entry and exit stamps
Please note that multiple entry visas are subject to the criteria and final approval of the consulate.

Medical Certificate
Applicants must provide a medical certificate stating that they are not infected by COVID-19Copy of ID

Applicants Staying with Friends or Family
Applicants staying with friends / family must provide a invitation letter from the host. This letter must:
- Be addressed to the Embassy of China in Mexico
- Include the name and passport number of the applicant
- Indicate the dates of stay with the host
- Indicate full address and contact details of the host
- Be signed by the host
Multiple Entry Applicants
Applicants requiring a multiple entry visa must provide:
- A passport showing one previous Chinese visa that has been used in the past
- Copies of the previous visa and the entry and exit stamps
