1. When is the best time to apply for my Saudi Arabia visa? The best time to apply for your Saudi Arabia visa is 1-2 months before your travel date.
2. Do I have to send you my passport to get a Saudi Arabia visa? Is it safe to send a passport? You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Saudi Arabia visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages. Visa requests cannot be processed without your original passport. Because of the importance of your passport, we strongly suggest that you send your application and passport to CIBTvisas in a secure way, using a traceable courier such as FedEx, UPS, Express Mail or Certified Mail.

Business Visa Application Requirements for a Saudi Arabia Visa

1. Passport

   The applicant's actual passport. The passport must:

   • Be a biometric passport
   • Be valid six months beyond entry date
   • Have at least two adjacent blank visa pages

2. Copy of ID

   A copy of the applicant's valid ID (IFE or INE)

3. Copy of Passport Identification Page

   A clear colour copy of the information page(s) from the applicant's passport

4. Photograph(s)

   You must provide two colour, passport type photographs that meet the following criteria:

   • Be taken within the last three months and printed on high quality photo paper
   • Be taken against an all white background
   • Be 35 mm by 45mm in size
   • Provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression
   • You may wear neither spectacles nor headwear except for religious purposes
   • Your photos should not be affixed to your application and they may not display evidence of adhesive or staples

5. Business Introduction Letter

   A letter of introduction from the Spanish company. The letter must:

   • Match the information mentioned in the letter of invitation
   • Be original and legalised by the Local Chamber of Commerce and the Superior Council of Chamber of Commerce
   • Be addressed to the Consulate of Saudi Arabia to the attention of the "Excellency Consul of Saudi Arabia in Mexico"
   • Be on company letterhead paper
   • Include applicant's full name (as indicated in the passport) and passport number, profession and job´s position
   • Specify the type of visa requested
   • Specify the purpose and schedule of the journey
   • Bear the company's contact information in Saudi Arabia
   • Be from a Company in Mexico
   • Bear company's signature and seal
   • Indicate the name and position of signatory (must be a senior position and can not be signed by the traveller)
   • Bear maximum of 1 applicant per letter

6. Letter of Invitation

   A letter of invitation from the company to be visited in Saudi Arabia. A copy is acceptable. This letter must:

   • Match the information mentioned in the business introduction letter
   • Include applicant's full name as indicated in the passport
   • Be legalised and sent by the Chamber of Commerce of Saudi Arabia
   • Be written in the official format
   • Be stamped by the company in Saudi Arabia once is printed
   • Bear Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs approval if applicant is a female
   • Be issued no more than 3 months ago
   • Bear the travel purpose and the activities to perform in Saudi Arabia

   It is important that the letter of invitation has been sent by the Chamber of Commerce of Saudi Arabia to the Consulate of Saudi Arabia in Mexico. If the registration number of the company in Arabia does not start with a 700, a copy of the company's trade register and ID card of the owner of the Arabian company would be necessary.

   The letter can be also issued, authorised and officially registered by the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Foreign Affairs
   

7. Proof of Company Registration

   A colour copy of the registration certificate of the Saudi company

8. Declaration Form

   One fully completed Declaration Form which can be found in the CIBTvisas application pack and must be signed in the original

9. Proof of Travel Insurance

   The Saudi Embassy requires all applications to be submitted with a medical insurance policy from an approved provider. CIBTvisas will obtain the medical insurance policy on your behalf when completing the visa registration procedure. please complete the Insurance form that can be found in the CIBTvisas Application Pack

10. Proof of Travel Arrangements

    A copy of the flight confirmation showing onward/return travel

11. Educational Qualifications

    This must be provided as the original and two copies of the applicant's professional diploma(s) / certificate(s) / credentials in the field of the job applied. This must be:

    • Legalized / Apostilled by the local authorities in Mexico
    • Translated into English or Arabic by official translator authorized by the government

12. Visa Application Form

    One fully completed and signed application form. The signature must be original and completed in block capitals only.

13. CIBTvisas Order Form

    Complete and submit with your other materials one CIBTvisas Order Form.
