Tourist Application Requirements for a Australia Visa

1. Passport

   The applicant's actual passport. The passport must:

   • Be in good condition. Not be damaged in any way
   • Be valid for at least one year beyond entry date
   • Have at least one blank visa pages
     

2. Copy of Passport Identification Page

   A clear colour copy of the information page(s) from the applicant's passport

3. Photograph

   You must provide a photograph. Upload your photo and we will print it to the exact specifications required for this visa. Follow https://cibtvisas.com.mx/photo-service to upload your photo.

   
   Alternatively, you may provide one colour, passport type photograph that meets the following strict criteria: be taken within the last three months against a white background and printed on high quality photo paper; be 35mm by 45mm in size; provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression. You may wear neither spectacles nor headwear except for religious purposes and wear colour clothes, photos with white clothes wont't be accepted. Your photograph should not be affixed to your application and may not display evidence of adhesive or staples.

4. Proof of Purpose

   As proof of purpose of trip and  ties with home country, the applicant must provide:

   • A letter from the applicant's Mexican employer including applicant's full name, passport number and stating the applicant's vacation period
   • Letter from University or Institute in Mexico if the applicant is a student
   • Copy of property deeds in Mexico (if applicable)

5. Proof of Financial Means

   Evidence of available funds. This must be provided as:

   • A copy of the applicant´s last three bank statements
   • Payment sheet from the last three months

    

6. Birth Certificate

   This must be provided as an original and a copy of the applicant's birth certificate

7. Copy of ID

   A copy of the applicant's valid ID (IFE or INE)

8. Visa Application Form

   One fully completed and signed application form

9. CIBTvisas Order Form

   Complete and submit with your other materials one CIBTvisas Order Form.

10. Applicants Staying with Friends or Family

    Travellers staying with family and friends must provide the following documents:

    • A letter of invitation issued by the host. Evidence of available founds of host must be provided If the host is paying for the cost of the applicant's trip,  
    • A copy of the host’s identity card if they are Australian

    Or

    • A copy of the host’s passport identification page and residence permit/visa if they are foreign residents

11. Married Applicants

    Married applicants must provide a copy of the marriage certificate
