  2. Do I have to send you my passport to get a Dominican Republic visa? Is it safe to send a passport? You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Dominican Republic visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages. Visa requests cannot be processed without your original passport. Business Visa Application Requirements for a Dominican Republic Visa

  1. Passport

    The applicant´s actual passport. The passport must:

    • Be in good condition. Not be damaged in any way
    • Be valid at least six months beyond exit date
    • Have at least two blank visa pages

     

  2. Photograph(s)

    You must provide one colour, passport type photograph that meet the following criteria:

    • Be taken within the last three months and printed on high quality photo paper
    • Be taken against an all white background
    • Be 4cm by 5cm in size
    • Provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression
    • You may wear neither spectacles nor headwear except for religious purposes
    • Your photos should not be affixed to your application and they may not display evidence of adhesive or staples

  3. Business Introduction Letter

    An original letter of introduction from the applicant's employer in Mexico. This letter must:

    • Be on company letterhead paper
    • Include the name of the applicant, passport number, profession and job's position
    • Specify the purpose of journey
    • Include the name of the organisation(s) to be visited
    • Include an acceptance of financial responsibility for the applicant
    • Be signed by the applicant's supervisor or the company's HR department

  4. Proof of Previous Visa(s)

    This must be provided as a clear copy of all previous issued visas to the Dominican Republic. Applicants must also provided copy of all issued visas for other destinations if applicable.

  5. Standard Criminal Record Certificate

    An original standard criminal record certificate for the applicant, issued within the last 30 days

  6. Copy of ID

    A copy of the applicant's valid ID (IFE or INE)

  7. Visa Application Form

    One fully completed and signed application form
